Pfizer Covid-19 jab
We are now offering the Pfizer Covid-19 jab to anyone aged 18 years and older
With preference to those with underlying health conditions.
- We are not vaccinating people below this age, such as children.
- Most people will be offered two jabs and then a booster, 2 months later.
- People who are immunocompromised or have weakened immune systems will be offered three jabs and then a booster, 3 months later.
- We are offering only Pfizer, which is being used for both the ‘third’ and ‘booster’ jab.
- Clinics are running on most Saturdays until the end of March; mid-week clinics may become available, depending on demand, in future.
- Research indicates that Omicron (the new variant) can infect easily people who have had only two jabs; people who have had three jabs have significantly higher levels of protection.
- It’s unclear, at the time of writing, how dangerous Omicron is in terms of causing severe illness and admission to hospital.
- Sadly, numbers are rising again. So please get vaccinated, as soon as possible
How to Book
